After leaving highway 93A joining Cavell road, a narrow 15 km road that winds up the Astoria Valley to the base of Mount Edith Cavell. Cavell road runs in parallel to Astoria river which ends up at Cavell Lake and Mount Edith Cavell. The lake is a brilliant greenish-blue in color which is fed by the meltwater stream from the Angel Glaciers.
